This year has definitely been a big one for the mastermind Tiësto. In a recent interview with Billboard, the Dutch producer talks about his personal highs and lows of 2016, his deep house record label AFTR:HRS and the new compilation he released for this venture, about a possible Swedish House Mafia reunion and much more.
In the beginning, he disclosed what was his motivation to start his new deep house label, saying that he launched AFTR:HRS, because it was very different than everything he normally does. He also spoke about the new compilation he put together for this label, unveiling that he included tunes that he’s not “necessarily going to play out“, but it’s something he would definitely listen to in his car or on the beach.
Tiësto also talks about the “highlights and lowlights” of 2016, revealing that the thing he did not like this year was that he had to cancel his show in Peru. However, he has a lot of highlights, going from his performances at various major festivals, the remixes he did for some amazing artists and more. You can take a look at the full interview here.
